I’m writing this reply to ensure you’re not still hacked. Often people remove the symptom of the hack without realising the hacker still has access to the website through a backdoor.

Thanks. Rebuilt it today (simple site so not a huge issue). But it has been completely deleted again.
They didn’t get in via C Panel to do this, so can’t figure it – never known anything like it.
I cut down plugins to completely trusted ones, deactivated and deleted all others. changed the password and user name.
But guessing that whatever vulnerability I have was reintroduced from the back up.
Beyond my understanding. Hosting firm kindly taking a look.
