Hardcoding JUST ONE category

    Hi,

    Does anybody know how to manually code WP to use JUST ONE category all over ? Is there any global variable that can be set ? Can somebody point me eventually to ALL the select that would have to be modified ?

    Basically I would like to use a different SINGLE category ONLY for different WP installs sharing the same db.

    I tried various hacks I found (I use WP 1.5) and none has been satisfactory for a reason or the other, so I really need something a little more radical.

    Any help really appreciated.
