Has the plugin been abandoned?

    I would like to continue to use the Pagely MultiEdit plugin but it has not been updated for a bit over two years which worries me from a security and functionality standpoint.

    Does Pagely intend on updating the plugin to at least ensure it is compatible with the latest version of WordPress and also with Gutenberg?

    Please be aware that our support team does not provide direct support for this plugin.
    Pagely MultiEdit plugin is not under any active development at this point and there is currently no focus or attention to any further updates being provided in the near future.

    No good news for ~2k installations of this plugins…
    In addition to Tim Derouin´s questions:
    What can be done to use the MultiEdit content in future? Will somenone take over the maintenance?
    If no update appears, can the content somehow be migrated to a Gutenberg block?
    Or would it be possible to convert or export post content including MultiEdit content and import them to use the whole content with an alternate solution, e.g. ACF?
    Should the MultiEdit Plugin be prevented from further installation from Plugin Repo?
