I really like the idea of a template.

But i have like 3 types of posts that happen all the time.

Can we somehow get templates that can be activated on page?

Oh, while im at it: How about settings default values for the blocks in the template editor?

    Many Thanks for considering 🙂

    Hi.

For now, Gutenberg officially supports only 1 template per post type https://ww.wp.xz.cn/gutenberg/handbook/designers-developers/developers/block-api/block-templates/. I think it is possible to create templates selection with custom code, but it is not the main road for the plugin for now.

I wanted to make templates feature more user-friendly. For example, creating templates not just with selecting blocks, but building it like a page or posts, so the default values will be also possible to define with no problems.

    Regards, nK.

    Thank you for the clarification.

I solved my problem by creting a post named “template-xy”, then duplicating it.
