Having multiple icons or arbitrary html code in the menu

Dear WP-dtree developers,

Thank you so much for your great work which made our life much easier. I really enjoy this feature. However, in my menu I need each sub-menu to have an icon which can be different from others or I want to use emojis but the current version filters all the html tags. I feel this can be of the general interest as well. Would you please kindly comment on how to implement such changes?
