I’ve created an hCaptcha account and added a site but its now showing 2 keys.
One with the setting Always Challenge auto
Another with the setting 99% Passive.
I’m guessing one of those would be the Site Key
If so then how do I get the Secret Key.

Also, in my account it says “You’re on a 14 day free trial of hCaptcha Pro, with low friction 99.9% Passive Mode and more”
Does this mean I’ll have to pay to use this?

OK so now I see the link “Getting Started” at the bottom to create the secret key.

So my question is if I use Always Challenge Auto mode what happen after the 13 day trial?

    Hi @jimk1416 ,

    I hope you’re doing well.

Thanks for reaching out to the WP Experts Support Team — happy to help 😊

You only need one Site Key and one Secret Key from your hCaptcha account. You can follow this documentation for step-by-step guidance:
    https://cf7apps.com/docs/spam-protection/contact-form-7-hcaptcha/

    • The Site Key is shown when you add your site in the hCaptcha dashboard.
    • The Secret Key can be generated from your hCaptcha account settings (please make sure to copy it when it’s displayed).

The options like “Always Challenge Auto” and “99% Passive” are simply different captcha behavior modes. You can choose either one — the plugin setup remains the same.

Regarding the 14-day free trial: if you don’t upgrade after the trial ends, your account will automatically switch back to the free plan, and hCaptcha will continue to work normally.

    Hope this clears things up.
