In this ranking I have a problem. If there are two teams with the same points (as an example Manchester City and Real Madrid) the program does not see if they have already played against (and they have with Real’s victory) and use immediatly the goal difference which is my second parameter.

In the settings I’ve activeted the “Head to Head” in Tiebreaker. I thought that was the problem but it is still unsolved.

    What can I do?

    Thanks, Daniele.

  • I have already written about this problem more than once. Unfortunately, the developers do not understand or do not want to understand.

If there are teams (two or even three, four teams) with the same number of points, then the general criteria of the whole championship should not be considered, but only those scored in these teams

    Hi @sevic,

If you select only points as ordering criteria, then only this criteria will be consider in the whole table and in the head2head calculations.

    Thanks,
    Savvas

    Ok, example.

There is a group of four teams – table 1 (the final correct position !!):
    1. Team-1 3 2 0 1 12-7 +5 6
    2. Team-2 3 2 0 1 15-8 +7 6
    3. Team-3 3 2 0 1 15-8 +7 6
    4. Team-4 3 0 0 3 8-27 -19 0

Specified conditions: points, goal difference, etc.
If the points are equal (two or more teams), then we assume h2h (between teams with the same points)

    Results:
    Team-1 – Team-3 – 5:2
    Team-1 – Team-2 – 2:3
    Team-1 – Team-4 – 5:2
    Team-4 – Team-2 – 4:11
    Team-4 – Team-3 – 2:11
    Team-3 – Team-2 – 2:1

Result: we consider h2h between Team 1, Team 2, Team 3
    Team-1 – Team-3 – 5:2
    Team-1 – Team-2 – 2:3
    Team-3 – Team-2 – 2:1

    Result h2h (table 2):
    1. Team-1 2 1 0 1 7-5 +2 3
    2. Team-2 2 1 0 1 4-4 0 3
    3. Team-3 2 1 0 1 4-6 -2 3

But Sportspress counts in h2h diff from table 1, but not from table two. It is not right
There is a lack of a criterion that considers parameters from the opposition of teams in games between each other.

    Hi @sevic,

@brianmiyaji explained at the following post exactly how the H2H works:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/h2h/#post-9841091

So the problem in your situation is that you have more specified conditions for league table ordering that have to be all equal before H2H come in effect. If you want to have H2H right after Points are equal then remove all other Conditions from the ordering.

    Thanks,
    Savvas
