Hi there,
Thanks for contacting us and hope you are doing well and having a great day.
To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor ). If it solves the issue reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WP theme such as Twenty Nineteen and see if it makes any difference.
Also, this could happen due to our Elementor performance experiments you can try to deactivate them. To deactivate them you can go to Elementor > settings > features
Performance features currently in the experimental stage are:
- Element Caching – Elements caching reduces loading times by serving up a copy of an element instead of rendering it fresh every time the page is loaded. When active, Elementor will determine which elements can benefit from static loading – but you can override this.
- Inline Font Icons – This experiment renders icons as SVGs without loading the Font-Awesome and eicons libraries. Since SVGs are vector-based images which are rendered using the browser’s engine, they do not increase server requests which improves performance
I am looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
Kind regards,
Hi,
I tried everything you suggested, but nothing helped resolve it unfortunately. It still shows a white space with the page name at the left instead of the headerwhen I preview it.

This is weird. I create a duplicate page of the home page with the Duplicate Page plugin and this page shows normally. In the Elementor editor it shows the white space but not the page name.

I selected the duplicate page as the front page as a workaround. Still, I’d like to know what causes this issue.
Hello, @eheijns! I’m sorry to hear the issue persists.
Is the header coming from the current theme, Astra? Or are you using a different plugin to create the header?
Check to see if the header and footer are being created with the same tool. Sometimes, if you use one tool for the header (for example, the theme) and a different one for the footer (such as a third-party plugin), this can cause a conflict. Ensure both the header and footer are being created with the same tool.
Are there any display conditions being applied to the header? Is the issue only happening on the front page? Check to ensure they are set up to correctly display on the intended pages (or across the entire site). Since the issue doesn’t occur on a duplicated page, ensure the header is not being excluded from displaying on the front page.
Hope that helps! Keep us posted if you need further assistance.
Kind Regards
