    Hi,

How would i go about adding a different header for every page above the “Entry-header”. I would like to have the image shown below the main nav but above of the page header. Is this possible?

    Hi @whitneyore

Thanks for the wait. I’ve been able to take a look at your request now, it won’t be super easy. If you have a bit of experience it’s something you can tackle. If not, I’d recommend leaving this.

If it’s something you’d like to try you’d need a child theme to start out with. You can download a child for Ultra here: https://puro-4401.kxcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/ultra-child.zip.

Once your child is activated you’d need to make a copy of header.php in the parent folder and paste it into the child theme. Finally, you could create a new widget area in the child functions.php file and render that widget area at the bottom of the header.php file. You could then use Jetpack Widget Visibility to choose which images to display under certain conditions.

I’ve left out some detail above, I wanted to first show you the complexity (depending on your experience) of this task before explaining further. Let me know.
