Hello
Could you give your :
Permalink settings
Static front page?
Polylang settings in Settings>Languages>Settings Tab: settings selected in URL modifications / Did you select Detect browser language / Did you select Media/ Which are the Synchronization.
And a link to your site.
Permalink: custom structure
Static: yes
Settings in modification: the language is determined by the content
Did NOT select detect browser language
Media: Activated( checked)
Synchronization: none
What’s your theme? Is it possible to have a link?
I made a test with Origami paper.
I tried to change some settings in Appearance > Customize (header image/background image/ nav –>primary menu) and it doesn’t work.
But it works by the path:
Appearance > Menu
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Weird. It works like that for you?
Someone has an idea?

Hi!
Could you try with the development version? I fixed such a bug with the customizer some time ago.
http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/polylang.zip
Hello Chouby,
I tried the development version.
Here is what happened.
1) when i try the appearance/ customize/ background, the background doesn’t appear after saving it, but when i go to header after and save my header, my background appears but when i visit the site, it’s all gone.
2)
If i do appearance/customize/header(instead of background) and save my header, it appears, and if i go to background after and save my background, it does NOT appear, and when I visit the site, it’s all gone.
3)When I do appearance/customize/navigation/primary menu, it appears, but when I go to visit the site, it’s all gone.

It’s not clear at all which theme you are using!
Anyway, what you describe is the bug I am aware of in Polylang 1.5 (settings done in customizer are not saved), and that should be fixed in the development version. I tried with stargazer I got no issue with the development version. What is the version number of this development version you used?
Well at the time you will read this, I will have released v1.5.1
When I use the theme Adventure http://www.ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/adventure , and change backgrounds from appearance/ background, i lose everything that i had customized prior like the font titles, color, background, header, menu, when i visit the site.
I wasn’ t sure between two themes Stargazer and Adventure. I tried v1.5.1, on stargazer going by appearance/customize/background, once you save the background, it only shows up when you visit the site but the rest seems to be working, thanks for everything!
I tried the adventure theme with v1.5.1
I am using 1.5.1. I have reverted to default theme and disabled other plugins.
Whenever I save background in Dashboard Appearance->Background, it doesn’t set the bg and somehow looses all the Polylang menu location settings. Not even using Customizer.
Any ideas?
We have similar problems after upgrading Polylang from 1.4.5 to 1.5.1 (in WP 3.5.1).
Our menu allocations (theme locations) suddenly get lost. After re-allocating and saving the menus (Appearance > Menus), they show up for a while, then disappear again in our blog pages. Example: they disappear right away when I reassign our header image and save it. When I reassign our menus, then the header image will be gone.
It worked well prior to the latest upgrade. I downgraded the plugin back to version 1.4.5 and everything is fine.
