Hello – I’m using MagazineX which I really like, but, I can’t figure out the size of the header banner image. On your demo site the picture ( with the trees ) looks way bigger than I’m able to get mine despite trying a bunch of sizes (1024 × 141px) (1366 × 141px) (1920 × 360px) (1920 × 141px) and more but I cant get them to look correct on the site.

Please can you tell me in pixels the size of the header banner image.

    Many Thanks

I figured it out – I’ll write it here in case anyone else needs to know

the size of the header image is 1920 x 250 but the reason it wasn’t displaying properly was because the site logo height option affects the banner image height (for some reason)

I had mine turned to 0 which was making the banner image shrink to 100 pixels height. When I turned the logo height up – the banner image increases.

I’m not sure why there is so little support on this theme yet it’s had so many downloads. It’s a great theme but it would help to have image sizes like the banner size shown for people like me who are beginners with wordpress

    Hi @sjcharlton1,

Firstly, great to hear that you’re liking MagazineX WordPress theme.

And, sorry for the late response.

From your question, it seems you’re trying to adjust the size of the header background image.

The tree image you referred to in the header of the MagazineX demo site: https://themedemos.net/magazinex/, is a background image applied to the main header area.

As you said, the image size we used there is 1920 x 250 px. If you want a similar result, you can use an image of the same size. Please note that how it looks depends on the height of the header as well, and the height of the header depends on your logo and/or right widget area. This is how the background image property in CSS works: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/background-image

You can customize background properties like repeat, position, size, and attachment to make it look as you want.

So, if you upload a logo with a height of 250px, or change the height of the logo via CSS, the background image will take

If you could share the link to your site, I can suggest the image size and background properties to use. Also, CSS code if necessary.

    Kindly let me know.

    Sincerely,

    Ashish S., WPBlockArt Team.
