try a different background color for your header area so the white text will be visible. (are you able to access the area Additional CSS in Appearance > Customize in your WordPress dashboard?)
.ast-primary-header-bar {
background-color: green;/*or any other color*/
}
are you using Astra theme?

The Astra theme you are using has a detailed documentation: https://wpastra.com/docs/astra-transparent-header/
According to this, you can also disable the transparent header for posts.
If you have further questions, I would recommend you to contact the Astra support: https://wpastra.com/contact/
Thanks for you replies but…
Please compare my header in that posts page with the normal header on other pages. The header already has a purple background that doesn’t show up at all in my Posts. It didn’t take the formatting for the header…

Thanks again,

Please have a look at the link to the Astra documentation. There is described how to exclude the transparent header for posts. If you have further questions about this, I would recommend their support, as the question is about the Astra theme and not WordPress in general.
Okay thank you I fixed the problem. Only now, please look at my blog page again.
The padding on the top of the blog is squished into the header!
I am in Customizer — Blog — Single post — Post spacing — Outside, trying to expand the top page margin but it gets applied to all pages in my website. How do I prevent this?
Thank you!
It looks like I will need custom CSS for the Astra theme. Could you please send this?
Thank you for your help!
I have no idea as I don’t know all themes. Please contact the Astra-support with your question: https://wpastra.com/contact/
