header builder spacing control

Please could someone help, my navigation header and drop down menus looks a squashed up mess on tablet view 🙁 I have entered every number variation (positive and negative) in margin and padding boxes but no luck.

Also, the down arrows are weirdly big…can I remove these? I installed the recent update for wp 6.2 and I seem to have lost control since then, could this have changed things?

The link goes to the main customizer page pc view but it is the header builder tablet view where the mess is. Thanks for any suggestions you have as I have spent 2 days trying to sort this myself to no avail. Debs
