Header Cart not Working

Hi,
i solved much of the problems with the theme using the template shortcodes, only that now i seem to have a problem with the header cart.
simulating the add to cart, everything seems to go and can see product added to the cart, but if i click on the supposed widget cart, it goes back to homepage.
the same problem also if i try to confirm the cart, it always goes back to the homepage.
