Header image size

    i am using the spot theme on one of my website. i have created a header image of size 1600×900 as suggested. the problem is the header image gets cropped based on screen size and hence parts of the image gets lost. is there any way to resize the image so that the whole image fits into the header space and the whole header image can be viewed from any device without getting cropped?

    Hi, please see this post for a discussion about the header image being designed to be cropped.

    I’m was inclined to make it responsive in the parent theme, Flat Bootstrap, but was planning on leaving it to crop in the child themes (Spot, Link, Pratt). I’ve made note of your request, though. I’m really starting to think some tweaks are needed to how custom images are handled.

    I’ll mark this thread as closed, but will turn notifications on as I’m happy to continue the discussion.
