    Hello,

I’m not exactly sure what caused it, but my header images are not filling the full width on the page. Are you able to help me figure out how to fix it?

The issue is happening on the home page as well as on a banner style page here: https://www.thescenicvistas.com/atacama-desert/.

I’m using a couple of plugins that may have inadvertently caused problems for me. Those are imagify image optimizer and simple image sizes.

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi there,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The default image size for banner is 1200x550px so your images are cropped to keep this size. It seems that you are using some style that resize container elements on your site to 95% of browser width. That means your container has about 1800px wide on large screen and is too large for default image size.

    Kind regards

Thanks! Will re-generating the image sizes for the slider to something like 1800x550px fix it?

Yes, I think adjusting default image size to the size of container should help.
