Header.php keeps getting deleted

    Hello there. Header.php file keeps getting deleted. I was trying to place my adsense code into my head. It got deleted. Than I tried to active my new google analytics plugin, header.php deleted again. I don’t know whats the issue with it. Why does it keeps deleting. I just wanna put adsense code into my head and install analytics plugin. Thats all .

    Hello,

    The theme files are replaced during the theme update. So, when you update the theme, the changes are lost.

    Please use child theme for the changes you do. https://github.com/oceanwp/oceanwp-child-theme

    Just copy the file you want to edit to child theme folder and change from there.

    Hello, yes, you need to use a child theme or a plugin for that, never add custom things in the theme itself because you will lose your changes at every update.
