Yep, just like that.
And I can see that you have modified one of the files I was speaking of – header.php.
The quick advice here would be to port your modifications out of it, integrate them via a supported way and delete the file.
Alternatively, if you know what you’re doing, you can update the file with the new code from the parent theme.
