Header removes theme’s fixed-width, columns, etc.
-
Apologies if this has been answered – tried searching but didn’t find anything quite like what I’m experiencing. So, I’m using Hueman, and it’s set up as a fixed-width template, 2 or 3 columns. Those columns have widgets in them. For site-wide settings, I’ve been using active theme header & footer. When I switch to the Nimble site wide header & footer, my site turns into a full-width, no-column template, and I can’t seem to get the old fixed-width & columns back.
I really want the flexibility of a global header section that can be more than just a topbar menu, but I can’t have that at the expense of my fixed-width column setup.
The fixed-width, active theme header & footer version is at chboothlibrary.org …. and the full-width, Nimble site wide header & footer is at staging.chboothlibrary.org …. I started re-building the content on the staging site, but it’s just not the same. Please, any suggestions?
