Can you please make a full site backup, try to update the Sydney theme, and see if it helps?

Thank you for your response.
I’ve backed-up my site, now how do I update the Sydney theme? My site currently runs off a child theme. I wouldn’t want to override all the configurations/customisations I’ve made :/

You shouldn’t lose anything if you didn’t make parent theme code modifications.

I’m not sure what exactly is your issue. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?
You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).
