Header Text and Logo/Slider capability

My website is http://www.beverlyimagegroup.com. I have gone as far as I can go and would like to know if anyone can tell me how to put text in the white area over my header picture . I actually would like to install a video. Also does the slider options mean you can have interchangeable pictures somewhere on the home page? Thanks
