Header Text Colors Not Consistent
-
Whenever I change the header background and text colors everything on the home page responds. The interior text color remains white from the demo. Is there another way to change the header text color that is consistent across the site?
I see there is an update for Sydney. Will this update address this? If I update the template will my custom CSS be remembered or will it be overwritten?
My site is not live, hence the IP link.
Thanks~

Hi Tim,
I am sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing.
I’d like to help. But I need to know your current site’s header setting. Are you using the theme’s header option from Customizer (under Dashboard > Appearance menu)?
Yes. I am using the Customizer.
I guess what I’m looking for is a way to adjust the header once and have it modify all headers on each page.
Hi @mothy5000,
Thank you for getting back along with additional information.
Can you provide some screenshots to add more context?
You can include a link to your image uploaded into a free file hosting services like snipboard[dot]io as your reply this thread. Thanks!
Here is a screen shot for the home page at the top and the About Us page on the bottom. The background color in the style sidebar reflects what you see in the About Us page, but not the home page.

Hope this explains what is going on.
Tim
I just figured this out. There was some CSS code that was overriding the customizer.
