    The header widgets have a text shadow that isn’t able to be removed.

    Also, the tags in the widget tags have a border.

    I’m sure there is a custom css value that can be used for both?

    I found the issue with the tag widget is my widgets had a black background. So the background some how can a small 1px solid border, or at least it looked like that.

    But the widget headers when the headers had black font on white background you could notice the widgets title still had a shadow. But the menu shadows were removed.

    Thanks for your clarification! in order to remove the shadows effects; please go under Appearance > Theme Options > Styling > Shadows.

    Yeah that was disabled a long time ago.
