• According to some earlier threads, I need to edit my header.php which can supposedly be found in wp-content/themes/autofocuspro, only it’s not there. Is the .php file formerly known as ‘header’ now part of the thematic-functions.php? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Basically I’m just trying to put a logo into the same header container as the menu items so that the logo is horizontally aligned with the menu items.

P.S. I know just enough about the stuff to be dangerous and not much more.

Esmi, Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question, but I don’t think I understand. Am I supposed to modify the header.php in the Thematic parent theme folder? I’m also hoping to learn more about all of this stuff, meaning understanding/reading/editing code. Any thoughts on where to begin?

Your theme is a child of Thematic apparently, so you need to understand how Thematic works to make the changes in your theme.

Once again, according to the threads I was following, I was told that I needed to access and modify the child theme’s .php files. I’m all for learning about how Thematic works, but in the meantime, I’d like to position my logo correctly.

If your theme doesn’t have its own header.php file, copy Thematic’s version and place it in your theme.

Awesome. I’ll give that a try. Thank you.
