@elke1987 I think there’s something wrong with the images themselves. For example, I see nothing here:

The 1X1 might indicate that this image is only 1 pixel square, could you take a look whether that’s the case?
Hi there, that’s not the case :(. The featured image on the post I’m showing for example is 2367 × 1591px, about 1MB. On the homepage http://www.elkeverwoerd.nl the pictures are just fine, but in the posts themselves they’re not showing.

Hmmm… I’m trying something. Perhaps something went wrong (can’t figure out what exactly) with uploading them. I uploaded the picture again and now it works fine.
First I used too small images and someone recommended the plugin “regenerate thumbnails”, maybe that plug in did something to it. Anyway! I’m going to upload new images ;-). This one’s solved!
