    Hi!

First of all thank you very much for MetaSlider – using it for years now 🙂

I encountered an interesting behavior with the image height. I think it arose after the last update.

    I’m using FlexSlider with
width 551 (to have a “special value”) and
    height 370.

On page load the images start with a height that equals the width (551) and the dots below are “far off”. But after some slides it is corrected to the height of 370.
If I click on the 7th or 8th dot it is corrected immediately …

So I think its some CSS/JS problem and not related to other plugins or the Twenty Twelve theme.

The issue can be found here: https://www.freilicht.org/
    The preview works: Yes
It works with other themes: Haven’t Tried
It works when I disable all other plugins: Haven’t Tried
    Meta Slider version: v3.15.3

Thank you very much for your help!

  • Hi @freilicht

    The preview works: Yes

Does this mean that everything works as expected in the preview? if so then that indicates it’s something from your theme or another plugin.

it looks to me like this is from a lazyload script or plugin. Are you using any plugin that does this?

Aaaah, your’re definitely right: it was the “Lazy Load” option (in Beta state) of WPMU Dev’s Smush plugin.

Deactivated it and now the slider works fine again!

    Thank you very much!

    Hi @freilicht

    Glad to hear it’s working!

By the way, if you’re enjoying MetaSlider please leave us a 5-star review. They really help us out and let others find our plugin more easily. If you don’t think we deserve the 5 stars please let us know how we can improve, too. Thanks!
