Despite customer service is limited, on an individual basis the developers demonstrated a willingness to go out of their way to perform vital support tasks.
I remain quite frustrated that nobody informed me that once I created a new site on their staging software I would need to utilize their upgraded “pro” version to push my site. An omission that feels like extortion in hindsight.
Problems created when I used another developer’s software to migrate my site could only be solved by deactivating and removing the WP Staging plugin, rendering valueless my investment in their “pro” software.
The time I wasted as well as the anxiety of “losing” months of work are enough to prevent a positive review. That this plugin doesn’t still have a one-star review is entirely 100% due to the personal efforts of the developers. That it doesn’t have a better review is due 100% to the dishonest intentions of those same developers.
My conclusion, I’d have been better off just moving my website to a host that offers a free staging area.
It’s my desire to never hear from this group of people again.
