Regarding the tag not being closed, I just checked the live demo site and my local longevity files that you mentioned but do not see broken tags. However, if I could request that you post this issue to the longevity support forum HERE, and a link to your site, I will be happy to take look at it and see if something else is causing the problem. If there is a theme code problem, I will make an update right away.
Quick Note: I will be doing a major update to Longevity soon, cleaner code, some adjustments to features, and to update some new things that WordPress is adding.

I work in localhost a child theme for now . look here http://demos.shapedpixels.com/longevity/longevity-blog/ the Firefox source code with the input line 315 is incorrect.
