    My WordPress website is hijacked by spammers!
    I am using Intense Debate and many people comments but these days number of spams are just getting too high. What should I do?

    Install an anti-spam plugin like Akismet. That’s the first obvious starting point.

    Thanks for replying!
    Akismet is not free. And I don’t think my client will be willing to afford it.
    Is there any other solution?

    Yes. Go through the SPAM and delete it all manually. I’ll guarantee that when they do that it will eat up so much time that Akismet will start looking cheap.

    There are other anti-SPAM plugins available, so go and do a search. I’m sure you’ll find something that will help at least a little bit.
