It looks like the required file, sac.php, located at:

    /wp-content/plugins/simple-ajax-chat/resources/sac.php

..is returning a 500 server error.

Best advice is to examine your server setup and figure out why the error is happening. It could be due to file permissions for example. Ask your web host for help if not sure.

Okay so it sounds like sac.php has the correct file permissions.

The next thing to look at is the error message itself. Ask your web host for the actual description of the 500 error. It can be found in the site’s error log.

    they said–

“A 500 error means that something isn’t loading.

This could be the cause of a plugin or a theme conflict.

The next step here would be to activate a different and deactivate all plugins. If the problem does not persist, then you would need to activate each plugin, one by one to see which one might be the culprit, likewise with the theme.

I hope this helps with next steps with the troubleshooting.

    Thank you and kindest regards,

That is all true, however every 500 error should have a corresponding description in the site’s error log. You have to actually look at the log file to get it.

So for example, you would trigger the 500 error and then look at the latest log entries to get more details about the error. Among those details is a brief description of what caused the error. That is the information that is needed to help figure out what is happening with your site.
