Manual update went wrong

    Dear all,

    I tried to mannually update wordpress, but wp-admin and wp-includes cannot be uploaded in the cpanel. What should I do? I am total beginner. I tried restoring the files, but that does not work either.

    Please help!

    wp-admin and wp-includes cannot be uploaded in the cpanel.

    What error do you see?

    It just says “An unknown error occurred.”

    And it also says that max size is 1.5??

    have you discussed this with your hosting provider?

    No, I haven’t. Maximum file size allowed for upload: 1.51 GB
    But I should have 4 GB allowed.

    So, this might be the problem?

    Pose all these questions to your hosting provider. They know their servers better!
