If I understood correctly, you are not planning on selling memberships on your website and are only interested in allowing your users to register a free account.

In this case, as Paid Member Subscriptions was designed to sell subscription plans on your website, I would recommend using our other plugin, Profile Builder. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/profile-builder/

Alternatively, you can set all your memberships to be free. This way no payment will be necessary when users register to your website regardless of the membership they choose.
