I have a website that has lots of traffic and with being a woocomerce site it has lots of info in the database. I was looking for a way to speed up the site when I cam across redis.
I installed redis about a year ago, been working fine until my FLIPPIN host decided I need to upgrade servers because my old server was at end of life for updates

They moved my wordpress/woocomerce site to new server.

Now they can not figure out why redis is using all of the memory all the time AND using 7 gig of swap space causing my site to overload resources and constantly give errors.
I thought when I installed it there was a way in cpanel to set the limit to how much memory it can use.

I could really use some help here

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey! That’s really more of a question for the hosting provider. If you have a very large site you might use 7GB of Redis data. You can try using the igbinary serializer to cut that in Half tho.

@tillkruess do you have any instructions on how to install igbinary serializer on my server, it is through Liquid web. Apache Version 2.4.62

The PhpRedis extension must be compiled with support for it. Google or ChatGPT can walk you through it 👍
