Help! Cannot center Featured Image.

I have tried everything to center a Featured Image on my static home page. I have followed various suggestions from the forums, modifying style.CSS, and also employing the Simple Custom CSS plugin but nothing works. My image just keeps aligning to the left of the page. I am using the New Gamer theme which has featured image support. I am a WP beginner so any assistance would be much appreciated.
