This was a misleading reference error on the release 3.1.1.
Now we have it fixed.

Can you please update to the version 3.1.2?

I use 3.1.2 version and get the same error.

I try to use 5.4 PHP version.

Please help us!

I’m hoping this gets merged soon:

It fixed the problem for me.
