help fixing alignment/sizing issues
-
ok, guys. Its been a shit day and I think all the interwebs are against me so I hope you can help.
I’m giving my blog a “makeover” using a flat/one page theme, its my first time using this type. I found a free theme (cordillera) that I like but needs a few tweaks for me. Their support forums seem abandoned so while I’ve figured out a couple of my issues I need some help with others…
1)theme has a section first thing with a large image that you can put text over. Its set to be a full page thing but I’d like the height to be dependent on the image uploaded or to be able to set it. I can’t figure out how to do so.
2) when you scroll down and see the nav bar, it has a logo in it. when the nav bar goes sticky however it changes to a text version rather than keeping the logo. I’d like to keep the logo. In their forums someone said they were able to do this but didn’t really explain how. (https://www.mageewp.com/forums/topic/cordillera-missing-logo-in-sticky-header)
3) the widget position that is currently black with a white outlined button saying go. That section/button is supposed to be centered, based on the demo, but I can’t get it to do so. On their forum someone asks for help with the same but never received an answer.
4) when going from the static homepage to the blog (via nav link) it is showing posts in the excerpt format. I have it set to Full post in the settings but still have excerpts, what can I do to fix that?
At this point, while I love the look of this theme, I’m open to a similar one that has more support if anyone has suggestions.
Thanks for any help!
