Help getting setup on Windows Server 2012 R2

    Hi. I recently dug out my old PC with the intent on turning it into a server. So far it is setup and I just installed Windows Server 2012 R2 on it. I would like to use it as a testing ground and maybe trying hosting something to the web.

    Is anyone familiar with Windows Server and could tell me how I should configure it to fit what I want to do?

    I’m currently running into my own issues… but you could try using Microsoft’s Web Platform Installer. It should automatically configure the settings needed on a Windows server.

    Well, I kind of want to do it myself because I want to learn how to do it.
