HELP!! how to fix this warning message cannot modify header

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/b/a/l/baleztena/html/wp-content/themes/birdsite/functions.php:248) in /home/content/b/a/l/baleztena/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 897

    I receive this message on my screen when i try to update anything now. I tried to add a code to theme funtions to change gallery link to no links, when i started to receive this WARNING message i went back and deleted the code, but i still receive the WARNING and now i cant update any pages or settings!!!

    HELP ME PLEASE!!!

    I am a beginner on wordpress, just built my site with no real difficulty until now!!!
