Help make it work with wpforo

    This forum plugin turns whole site into a forum. I think it changes the page type all together. If you look at a post you see 1 min read at the top right. I put <?php echo do_shortcode(“[wtr-time]”); ?> into the theme file, but it is always 1 minute, even on long posts…not reading the actual forum post.

    more importantly I want the progress bar to display on these forum pages. any tips to help me figure how to integrate?

    Sorry for the delay on response!

    Using WTR for non-standard content can be tricky, because there is a very diverse spectrum of plugins and how they show content. WTR looks for wrappers with certain IDs to figure out progress bar placement and the_content() to determine reading time. If your plugin is for instance not using the standard the_content() WordPress function, then the reading time is not going to work.
