• i have a website 2 years already, and one week ago I played a bit with the permalinks and suddenly my website was flagged with a red warning that I link to harmful downloads.

i did many scans and checked for malware, and hacking including on my own desktop and everything is 100 percent clean.

i have submit a review to google safw browsing and it failed.

They say I failed to remove the following urls.

    http://mydomain.com/2023/

    http://mydomain.com/2023/05

i used a plugin to hide those 2023/05 archives which gives now a 404 error page.

bur they claim it’s not removed.

how else can I remove it??

2023/05 is a permalink where the posts posted of that month are standing on.

A 404 is already a change. Probably they don’t refer to that but to the dangerous links that should still be present in your project.

Did you use a plugin within WordPress for your scans of the website? Possibly there is something parallel to WordPress in the hosting. Have you checked that as well?

Otherwise I would recommend you to contact your hoster. Maybe they will find something.
