HELP! Menu setting don't save???

    Hello!

    Hope anyone can help: I added a scroll menu (home page) and various menu items as custom links.
    The scroll menu gives the option in the ‘menu settings’ > theme location > Home menu or Main menu. I click ‘home menu’.
    Problem is: I save it.. and it doesn’t work. That is: the clicked box is unclicked afterwards. Very frustrating because now the menu bar doesn’t show up on the home page!

    When I go to manage in customizer, I can also do this and the menu bar does show up (in customizer)! However… when i press Save & Publish – aaaaaand it’s gone.

    No idea. Tried everything. HELP please.

    This tickbox, is that available from your theme? I don’t remember seeing that in my wordpress installation

    Yes, appearance > menus > create new menu > option theme locations: home or main menu..

    maybe its the template?

    it’s a wp theme from themeforest…

    To make sure this is something specific to your theme, can you try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to see if this tickbox appears and contains the same issue?

    just tried – it’s slight different indeed and menu bar shows up in 20-14…it seems to be the theme… i ll contact themeforest

    at least we got this far 😉 thanks!

    Good to hear! While you wait you could try some techniques like deactivating all of your plugins to explore whether any could be responsible.
