@nepalpyramids, if, for instance, there are plugins that load CSS & JS site-wide and you only use those plugins on certain pages (e.g. “Contact Form 7” is likely needed only on the contact page, so if that’s the case you can unload its files site-wide and make an exception to load on the contact page). If you’re unsure what to load, I would recommend you to keep jQuery Migrate and WP Embed enabled and do the changes you need on a staging environment (if you have any, if not, I’d recommend you create one, in essence, it’s basically a clone of your website with a different URL so you can make changes there and test everything before doing the same on live).

And yes, if you happen to break the website, deactivating the plugin will make the unloaded files to load again.

I was there was an AI tool that will automatically detect what you need or not, but that’s not possible at this time, since the owner of the website is the only one who knows what he needs or not on certain pages, plus, you might unload a certain CSS file that has properties which are used on an AJAX call (just an example) so you have to know your website before unloading any assets.
