    Hello,

Can you help me with the below questions?

I have purchased car demon templates and would like to know if iit is possible:

    – To add a coma (,) after the thousand – for mileage and other numerical fields?
    E.g: “£1,000” and not “£1000”

    – How can I rename on the car page ‘Asking Price:’ into ‘Price:’?

    – For the car price in WordPress backen, is it possible to enable letters too? We want to add POA for the car price however the field takes only number?

    – I’d like to add a contact form on every car page, at the bottom. Where can I find the template for this page to add the script of the form?

    MAny thanks

    Hi Lina,

We’d be more than happy to help you along. The moderators frown on support questions involving commercial add-ons, but I noticed you also sent us an email so we’ll reply to that to explain how to handle those items with the Template Builder.

For anyone else who find this thread there’s a coupe ways to do the same things with just PHP hooks. For example, adding a comma to the price can be done with the filter ‘cd_price_filter’, the documentation for this can be found here: https://cardemons.com/docs/car-demon-code-docs/

The ‘Asking Price’ can be changed to ‘Price’ by going to Dashboard->Cars For Sale->Settings and then expanding the ‘Vehicle Options’ section and expanding the ‘Specs Tab’. You’ll find all of the default labels can be changed there.

On the next item you can actually cheat to add POA to the end of the prices by simply going to the settings and entering that as the “Currency Symbol After Price”.

The last item was about adding a contact form to the bottom of every vehicle page. The easiest method (without the Template Builder) is to drop a sidebar area there in your theme’s template file and then dropping the widget. There’s a couple other ways to handle this, so if anyone is interested just swing by our site and send us a message on our contact us page and we’ll point you in the right direction.

@lina – since you have the Template Builder a couple of these things can be done easier with that. We’ll email you directly in a few minutes.

    Thanks for using Car Demon!
