Help needed for getting database loaded

    I bought a url with existing website written in wordpress.

    Can not get the database uploaded and working in my go daddy account.

    I need a consultant to log in to the account and sort it out, can anyone suggest who could do this.

    I don’t think you need a consultant
    you have
    localhost
    as the DB_HOST

    with godaddy it is something similar to
    p50.secureserver.net
    or
    mysql33.secureserver.net

    If you need assistance getting an existing database uploaded, our hosting team can assist you. Please note that you can only import data in .sql format. If you have a .bak file, you will need to get a new version in the proper format. Email [email protected] explaining that you would like help importing your database, and they will instruct you from there.

    Once your database has been imported, you can set edit the your configuration file so that your hosting account is properly linked to the database. Take a look at this article in our Help Center which explains how to do so: http://help.godaddy.com/article/5111
