Dear A.J.,
Could it be that your are logged in on Facebook not as a user, but as a public page? If so, you will see a ‘Log in’ caption instead of the button. When clicking on this caption, you will see a message suggesting to switch from the page to the personal account. This is a standard FB button functionality, which is generated by Facebook itself.
In order to see the button and hit ‘Like’, please switch to the personal account.
