Help removing things with MW theme

    theme URL: http://www.monetizingtheweb.com/wordpress-theme-mw/

    the person who made this theme will not give any support interms of modding and I am really stuck.

    If I try and move a section in the sidebar, for example Monthly archives, to up to the top it cutting and pasting the code in sidebar.php will remove everything inside Monthly archives, also if I try and remove Subscribe to this site it will remove the footer as well, can anyone help.

    Its very helpful if you provide a link to the blog you are working on when asking for help with these types of things.

    I cannot because I am doing it locally.

    A good habit to follow when changing anything like this [and you are unsure of the procedure or the outcome] is to do it one step at a time.

    Save your original file so you have something to go back to, and cut and past code in small sections. If it doesn’t work, go back, replace what you just changed and try another option.

    This also helps you to come to grips with what each piece of code is doing.

    Not being able to see what you are doing really does limit what we can offer in the way of assistance.
