HELP – Spacing too Big

    Just installed Spectra a day ago.

    ISSUE – The spacing between Header1 & Header 2 (basically any item) is too big,

    1. Currently padding & margins are set to zero.
    2. Container Padding , Container Elements Gap , Blocks Editor Spacing – are all set to zero. Not sure if it helped

    Still there seems to be some invisible margin/padding.

    I have 2 headers, 1 shortcode for subsribe button -> email box & small paragraph box underneath the shortcode. And the distance b/w them is too big.

    Hi Rajkiran,

    First of all, thanks for replying.

    I tried to upload a screenshot, it says file upload is disabled. Tried uploading from url, it gave me the above msg.

    1. Basically all the headings are too spaced out.
    2. I don’t really see any setting that would make them come closer.
    3. I would like to make it more closer to one another, making it a little more compact.

    I have recorded a screencast to show the letter spacing option you can try to adjust from the heading typography.

    Hi,

    Thanks for going as far as to record a vid. But my issue is not Letter spacing.

    ISSUE – The spacing BETWEEN Header1 & Header 2, between the 2 lines, the empty space BETWEEN the 2 lines, & NOT letter spacing.

    I tried using the line height option, but it only works for lines within the selected block & not outside of it.

    My issue is outside the block of heading.

    Is there a way, I can select headings 1 & 2 both & edit, meaning decrease the empty space between the lines ?

    Also,
    I don’t really have the 3 tabs of General, Style & Advance,
    I have Settings & Styles when I click on the heading. Even the line height option I found out that it was hidden inside the 3 dotted menu.

    P.S. – I tried screen recording using the software that you’re using, but I get the msg, the website (wordpress) doesn’t allow screen recording.

    Thanks for writing back.

    The headings you are using are not our Spectra heading blocks, those are core Gutenberg Headings blocks.
    I request you use our heading blocks so that we can easily support any issues around it.
