    I’ve just started using ShiftNav and love with it : ) Once you have the easy plug and play ‘Responsive Menu Functionality’ that ShiftNav delivers I don’t know how anyone would want to live without it.

    I do need your help though because I’ve run into an issue associated with Speed Booster Pack.

    It’s a rather complicated issue. So, I’ve posted a detailed explanation with screen shots here on my Clarify Cloud Account:
    http://videoseogo.clarify-it.com/d/pqtgk9

    In Summary
    I’m getting a pop up warning message at the bottom of the Browser Window saying: Loading Shiftnav…

    I use the Speed Booster Pack for:

    1. Defer Parsing the Javascript Files

    2. Moving the scripts to the footer

    3. Load CSS asynchronously

    I believe that one of these functions is causing issues with ShiftNav.

    I need your insight as to confirm that I’ve targeted all ShiftNav’s Assets correctly in order to exclude them.

    Look forward to hearing from you and getting this issue resolved

    Thanks
    Shunyata

    Hi Shunyata,

    Glad you’re enjoying ShiftNav 🙂

    Looks like when you activate that Speed Booster plugin, you’re getting some unrelated javascript errors. But that’s preventing ShiftNav from being able to load.

    You’re correct that the only JS file is shiftnav.js, and it looks like it is being properly excluded on your site.

    However, I don’t know that that will necessarily help. I don’t think the issue is with the ShiftNav script – it is with another javascript file that isn’t being minified/concatenated properly. However, that error, though it is unrelated, prevents ShiftNav from being able to load.

    I think what you’ll want to do is take a look at the errors occurring in your javascript console and get them resolved.

    Here’s one problematic line:

    var loaderHtml = "<div id=\"loader-visitor-rating\" >&nbsp; Loading, please wait <img src="https://cdn.buysubliminal.com/wp-content/plugins/speed-booster-pack/inc/images/1x1.trans.gif" data-lazy-src="https:\/\/buysubliminal.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/yet-another-stars-rating\/img\/\/loader.gif" title=\"yasr-loader\" alt=\"yasr-loader\"><noscript><img src="https:\/\/buysubliminal.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/yet-another-stars-rating\/img\/\/loader.gif" title=\"yasr-loader\" alt=\"yasr-loader\"></noscript><\/div>";

    Here’s another:

    jQuery(document).bind('essb_selfpostcount_action', function (e, service, post_id) {

    (note neither of these is from ShiftNav, so I’m not familiar with them)

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Yaseen,

    Please open your own topic when you have a question.

    Sounds like your theme doesn’t deal well with having an extra div wrapped around it. You could disable the Shift Body setting and then designate your own wrapper instead in the settings, if one exists on your site.

    Chris
