Help with displaying custom fields in list

Wordpress version 5.7.2

Hi,

I’m struggling a bit with displaying custom fields related to one item of the list. English isn’t my first language and I’m having a difficult time finding/understanding the informations I need, even when browsing the support topics and documentation.

Which parameters do I need to add to the catlist shortcode to display a post’s specific ACF custom field? Is it even possible?

Let’s say I have a post about a university course in which I’m using a catlist shortcode to display the classes students can take (other posts) in this course ; How do I display the class’ length (custom field from the class’ post) directly in my list alongside the class’ name (title of the post)?

Please let me know if my request isn’t clear, I’ll try to rephrase it then.
