HELP with installation

Hello,
I have just installed WordPress 2.7 with FileZilla as my FTP and its hosted by AwardSpace. I uploaded all my files to my hosting server but when I go to the WordPress setup page (/wp-admin/install.php) it takes me to my hosting companys 404 error page. When I go to the regular website domain it says still no index.html. I uploaded but every thing from WordPress 2.7 is uploaded. Im really stuck so if someone could help please reply or email me a [email protected]

I think one of the problems is I might have uploaded index.html in the wrong place so if you could also tell me where thats supposed to go. That would be very much appreciated.
